Super-Edge™ Helicoid Flighting

Up to 50% thicker, Reduced wear and Increasing Auger Life

Our Super-Edge™ cold rolling process work hardens our flighting and provides an integral. thickened band of wear resistant steel to reinforce the outer edge. The major gain in thickness, high quality surface finish and slight forward incline of the blade has made Super-Edge™ Auger flighting the outstanding performer for efficiency, durability and economy. The tougher, reinforced edge ensures a longer life and this extra strength is achieved with no increase in weight or cost.

Cupped Super-Edge™ Flighting

We manufacture "cupped" flighting in Super-Edge™ form with up to 30 degree lean from vertical. This incline helps retain grain within each pitch (closer to the centre shaft) which improves auger output and also helps minimize "fines" degradation.

Conventional Helicoid Flighting

We manufacture highly rigid, wear-resistant flighting using Lenham cold rolling technology which is the world leader in helicoid flighting production. Our Conventional Auger flighting is manufactured on the most advanced machines which produces flighting that is tough, has a smooth surface finish which is hardened by cold-rolling to give superlative durability and output. The flighting blade can be vertical to the centre shaft or inclined to varying degrees (cupped). Furthermore our production method ensures total control and dimensional accuracy.

Ribbon Helicoid Flighting

Ribbon Helicoid Flighting is where a narrow strip is used to produce a large inner diameter and can be manufactured as a reinforced edge when welded to Conventional Helicoid Flighting.
